The aim of modern aesthetic (cosmetic, beauty) surgery is to create aesthetic forms and proportions for the face and body with the purpose of beautification. In the Aesthetic Cosmetic Surgery rejuvenation means the same – beautification by giving the right proportions and angles typical for young people.

All this is possible without serious surgical interventions and can be achieved using simple procedures. The very latest technique to be used is the method of Scarless “Suture” lifting used in any part of the face and body to correct early flabbiness of the tissue. In the face: Temporal, Supra-temporal, Medial and Lower lift; Brow lift; Chin enhancement without implants; Nose tip and nostril refinement; Ear corrections; In the body areas: Buttock lift, Breast lift, Inner thigh lift, upper arm lift etc. These non-scaring elastic suture methods fully replaced the old excision face-lifts with pulling the skin in only one direction.

Thread lift is the most recent method for remodeling and/or rejuvenating the body and the face.

It is a less traumatic experience for the patient, leaving few punctures and no scars, with a rapid recovery, less swelling and less bruising and with the possibility of rapidly resuming normal activities.

Its major indication is to treat areas or sites that are sunken. It is not indicated for treating excesses of skin, excess fat, nor is it indicated to obtain effects of accentuated filling.

You cannot expect the same results from this technique as from other excision surgery. However, the suggestion for carrying out this technique is simply carried out under local aesthetic, and that you leave the clinic at the end and rapidly resume your normal life.

Its results and duration varies from person to person. The results vary according to cases and to the area of the body to be treated.

This technique is not indicated to treat extreme cases. Each situation will receive appropriate treatment and surgery, which will be suggested at the consultation.

In all aesthetic procedures – medical or surgical – you must not have unrealistic expectations. It is important that both the doctor and the patient have an idea of the results to be obtained, the limitations of the treatment suggested and the nature of each case.

There are various factors that effect the results of surgery or aesthetic treatment – technique used, post operative, cooperation of the patient, etc. “Corrections” or even other supplementary surgery or treatment to improve the final result, may be needed, all depending on each case.

  1. The results are immediate, but once the immediate swelling has reduced, true results are seen after a few weeks according to the type of operation performed, with the results beginning to be seen at the end of 3-4 weeks, in some cases earlier, but the final result will be reached progressively.
  2. All the operated areas can appear temporarily “bruised” and “swollen”. It varies from person to person. There are cases in which there is not even slight bruising. The time the “bruising” lasts varies between 10-20 days. The “swellings” increase during the days following the operation and then gradually disappear. The time that they take to disappear is also variable according to the patient and the type of operation performed. Patients will be advised at consultation on how to manage their conditions in the days following the procedure.
  3. The small scars must not be exposed to direct sunlight for three months. You can go to the beach, as long as they are covered and you must use a sun block with total screening. In the same way, the “bruising” must also not be exposed to direct sun.
  4. The type of anaesthesia to be used is local, unless there is any contra indication.
  5. Pain is subjective and of variable intensity according to the person concerned. There could be surface pain for which analgesics being prescribed to be taken as necessary.
  6. Incapacity or limiting of work or normal activities varies from person to person according to the type of operation, the area treated and the level of activity of each patient.
  7. Medication, gel, ointments, massages, creams etc must be used and taken as directed.

Cost will vary depending on the area treated starting from £1,500

The fee charged for a consultation is £75.00
